Way back when, Neuro Kinetics pioneered the development of computerized Barany (rotary) chairs used clinically for balance and dizzy testing in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, and for advanced research by universities, government agencies and others.

Now we've been awarded a patent for the design of the system's new motor.

It's said that we're all known by the company we keep. If that's true, then we have many reasons to be especially cheerful as the new year unfolds: the roster of clinicians, hospitals and research centers using our newly updated equipment continues to grow. A small sampling of clients using our Neuro-Otologic Test Centers (Barany chairs) includes James C. Andrews, M.D., F.A.C.S., a clinician in private practice, Los Angeles, California; Fairview Health Services (a group of seven hospitals, including the University of Minnesota Medical Center) in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the VA Medical Center - Richmond, Virginia, one of a number of Veterans Hospitals we serve; Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and, most recently, The Mayo Clinics, Rochester, Minnesota, and Scottsdale, Arizona. We'll be profiling users in future issues of Update. Want to be included? Please e-mail us at editor@neuro-kinetics.com.

Brad Pitt doesn't have to worry about a new competitor in the heartthrob market, but there's a video featuring CEO Howison Schroeder posted on our Web site that is a great introduction to our company, products and services.
