Dyslexia Gene May Make Some Athletes Less Susceptible to Concussions

New research suggests that a gene associated with dyslexia may make some athletes less likely to have concussion injuries. The reason for lowered risk may relate to the way the dyslexic brain is wired. It is believed that this is the first time a gene has been implicated in concussion in athletes of a high-impact sport.
